2026 North Olympic Peninsula Fall Foliage Tour - CANCELLED (17 Oct 2026)

Due to an early fall color change, this year's event will be cancelled due to the lack of color by the time this event was scheduled.

Please join us on October 17th, 2026 and enjoy the breathtaking drive with a view of the changing fall colors on the North Olympic Peninsula.

We will begin with a meetup up at the Superchargers at the Holiday Inn Express in Sequim (located at 1441 E Washington Street) at 11:00 am. We will depart no later than 11:15am. Please call if you feel you will be late. (There is Black Bear Diner next door if you are hungry before the journey).

From here we’ll determine which route is the best one to take. If the weather is clear, we’ll likely start our drive up to Hurricane Ridge Trail Head, there is and easy hike on a paved trail, with an amazing view.

If the weather is bad, we’ll probably opt to go directly to Crescent Lake. Either way, you’re in for some beautiful sights. Make sure to bring your camera. With either route, we’ll be stopping by Granny’s Cafe, an iconic local eatery near Crescent Lake with amazing pies and desserts.

There is no registration cost to participate in this event, however there is an $30.00 entry fee to enter Olympic National Park (at the time of this posting).

Come haunt the Tesla Service Center in Vancouver, WA, with you favorite costumes for some family fun. Enjoy some kids activities, candy, music, and a Halloween themed light show. Frunk & Treat and Cars & Coffee

Together, TOWA, Tesla Vancouver Service Center, and, Orchards Cars and Coffee, will have a Trunk/Frunk & Treat event at the Vancouver Mall on the northeast lot. They bring the Trunks. We bring the Frunks. Decorate your frunk or your trunk and bring candy to hand out to the costumed kiddos. Tesla Vancouver with be present to set up future demo drive. This event is open to the public.

Worldwide Christmas Light Show 2026 (12 Dec 2026)

Worldwide Christmas Light Show!

Once again, it's time for another epic Worldwide Christmas Light Show. The global light show starts in New Zealand again and continues around the globe to end in Hawaii. The Christmas Light Show files will be available to download for free from XLightshows.io. Make sure your Tesla is able to play a custom light show before signing up. Not all Teslas are created equal.

You can record the live event but DO NOT post it publicly anywhere until after the worldwide final cut video is posted to the public by Simon Pollock of XLightShows.io.

We will try to accommodate cars that arrive after 4:30 pm because we need time to get all the cars setup to for the scheduled Lightshow at 5:00pm. Please arrive on time or you might miss out. Times may change depending on how many cars participating.

UW Research Survey: EV Wildfire Evacuation Experience

Students at the University of Washington are performs a survey about how driving an battery electric vehicle is effected by wildfires and ability to evacuate. Following is the information from the students abou the survey.

As wildfire season draws to a close across the Pacific Northwest, our hearts go out to the neighbors, families, and communities who have endured the stress of evacuations, hazardous smoke, and the disruption of daily life. The safety and well-being of our community are at the center of everything we do.

These events highlighted an urgent planning challenge: the operational viability of Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) when power shutoffs, sudden corridor closures, and charging infrastructure failures intersect. To help protect our communities in future emergencies, researchers at the University of Washington are conducting a formal study on EV user behavior, charging decisions, and routing dynamics during recent wildfire events.

Are you eligible?
We are exclusively seeking input from Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) drivers who are primary or seasonal residents in the following Washington counties: Asotin, Grant, Benton, Spokane, Stevens, Douglas, Lincoln, Ferry, Skamania, Yakima, Kittitas, Okanogan, Chelan, or Klickitat.

Note: If you already filled out this survey during our first round, thank you! Please do not submit another response. To maintain the scientific integrity of the study, our system automatically flags and removes duplicate entries.

The Details:

Time: ~25 minutes.
Incentive: Complete the survey to enter a drawing for four $50 gift cards and ten $20 gift cards. (Note: Additional gift cards may become available later; this post will be updated if the reward pool expands).
